Regular Membership – Any person who has the desire to share the African American history of a Buffalo Soldier’s life, has paid the required dues and has completed the 3 activity minimum requirement.
Association Members – Any person who has rendered outstanding service to the Unit and has paid the
required dues but has not completed the 3 activity minimum requirement. Associate members shall not
have a vote from the floor at any time.
Member at Large/Honorary Membership – Any person who has performed distinguished service for
the Unit and by majority vote is deemed such. Honorary members shall not pay annual dues and shall not
have a vote from the floor at any time.
Junior Members – any person under 18 year of age who is under a guardians supervision and desires to
participate in the Units activities. Junior members shall not pay annual dues and shall not have a vote
from the floor at any time.
Annual Dues – Annual dues are $50 per year and shall be payable upon joining the Unit and thereafter on
the first (1st) day of January, each year. Annual dues shall include membership in the Unit. Make checks
payable to… BSMCU do not forward CASH in the mail or make check payable to membership chair.
